Mentoring Employment Training Program (MET)

MET provides youth and young adults employment opportunities, career development training, and a path to obtain educational endeavors while actively participating in part-time and full-time subsidized work experience. The goal of the program is to address the lack of employment opportunities or disparities in underserved communities which has been affected by the shortage of employment training, educational opportunities, and youth violence. The age requirement is 16 to 24 years of age.

Participants will be provided with temporary part-time/full-time work experience and mentoring; transitioning to unsubsidized employment opportunities with a non-profit agency, community-based organization, and the private sector.
