Roll Call has partnered with Cook County Juvenile Probation Officers to offer court-involved youth (ages 11 to 18 years old) diversion services, in addition to obtaining probation service hours. Over the past year, as COVID-19 set in, we began a unique weekly collaboration with Roll Call in a virtual forum via zoom entitled "Transformation Tuesdays" and “Transformation Saturdays”.

As the name suggests, meetings occur on Tuesdays and Saturdays where there is varied content and guest speakers present on subjects. We've had presentations from the Animal Cruelty Society and The Midnight Circus, from judges, lawyers, mentors, and former gang members. We've done instructional presentations on basic financial concepts, vocational subjects, information about interacting with justice and law enforcement, taught about expungement of criminal charges, and had counselors experienced with grief and trauma especially as it relates to gun violence. In every meeting, our goal is to engage our young probationers to build them up and provide support and direction for their lives.
