Andrea F.
Former Administrative Assistant
Before coming to Roll Call, Andrea had a hard time finding employment due to her background. In 2012, she was convicted as a felon for retail theft; at that point, she figured her chances of succeeding in life were over. Andrea dropped out of college where she was majoring as a Criminal Justice student where she had lost all hope. She later gained employment at her neighborhood corner store but she knew that was not what she wanted to do.
Later, she quit her job after my father told her that his friends at Roll Call can help her get a job. She was scared to come because of her background but Roll Call gave her a second chance by employing her as a youth worker. Her hard work gained her a permanent position as the Administrative Assistant at Roll Call. This organization has not only helped her to become a better person but also helped her to believe in herself when all fails. Roll Call has become her family. She is very grateful for God placing such caring and loving individuals into her life. Andrea says that she is a work in progress but as long as she is a part of Roll Call, she feels there is no goal that she can’t accomplish.
